This long drink is a classic at every bar, as it is easy to make and extremely refreshing. Paying a homage to the Cuba Libre, we create a version with Malandra.
The story behind the famous cocktail goes back to 1900 during the Spanish-American War. Legend says that a captain in the U.S. Army stationed in Havana poured Coca-Cola and a squeeze of lime into his Bacardí and toasted his Cuban comrades by saying: “Por Cuba Libre!” (“To a free Cuba!”).
